Wedding of the Month: Katherine and Johnny

Katherine and Johnny got married on April 8th 2017. He proposed to her on top of Breakneck Mountain which is located right above our venue! Luckily when they were up there, there was a photographer and they got the most amazing and breathtaking engagement photos!

This happy couple knew the Chalet was the right place for them! The bridal party got some great photo op time on our back patio in front of the waterfall. They were having so much fun as you can see….

It was  just a tad windy out that day, but they managed to have a wonderful ceremony outside! Right in front of the waterfall and all of their guests.

The reception had them dancing the night away with their friends and family. They also got to cut their beautiful magnolia cake!

And then one last peek at the brides gown just because it was absolutely stunning!

We wish you both the best from all of us here at the Chalet!

An Illuminating Wedding Seating Chart Idea

candle wedding seating chart

If you are opting for a seating chart rather than escort cards, this pretty, personalized wedding seating chart is a great idea. It makes a beautiful focal point and adds a whimsical, warm touch to the decor. Each candle represents a different table number. The embossed wooden blocks prominently marry the two names coming together as one. Each block can hold the table numbers for types guests – friends and family of the bride, friends and family of the groom, mutual friends.

Some helpful wedding seating chart tips:

1. Always alphabetize.

2. Choose a large, legible font.

3. Think about matching the typeface and colors of your invitations.

4. Include the names of everyone’s plus-ones for a more personal touch.
